Attending a singles ward brings out the best in all of us, or so we think. Have you been at church and see the newbies walk in, typically referred as "freshmeat". Ladies, do you think to yourself, "Wow he's hot!",then secretly figure out how you will lure him to be your eternal companion? Men, do you secretly rate the new women who walk in? I believe you're either thinking, "she's a babe" or "what tree did she fall out of an hit every branch on the way down?" People, it's like going to the linger longer, you know when you all are assigned a dish to bring to share after church. There may as well be a barbeque grill set up for the "fresh meat" as the main course.
Let me break it to you gently.....THE SINGLES WARD IS NOT TO BE A MEAT MARKET! Ok, I let it rip and now I'm off my soap box except I would like to inform you all that regardless of who walks in and attends the singles ward, everyone is a daughter or son of God. We need to treat each other with love and respect and not just another piece of meat, or your next conquest etc.
